Moonlighting in Vermont (The Bree MacGowan Series) Review: Moonlighting in Vermont was disappointing. The leading characters were mildly amusing, but shallow. The mystery was pretty mundane and the crime-solving was more a matter of wandering around than sleuthing. The motive for the crime seemed implausible. The main subplot was worse. There's a lot of just plain unnecessary fluff. The writing was fair, but the consecutively quoted conversations were a little quirky.The formatting for Kindle was among the worst I've run into.This book made it just above my cutoff for reading to the end.
